August 20, 2009

"In Hoc Signo Vinces", the new video from the Norwegian metal band SHOT AT DAWN, can be viewed below. The track is featured on both the group's debut album, "Sic Vic Pacum Para Bellum" (2008) and follow-up EP, "Pre Bellum" (2009; for which the song was re-recorded).

According to the band's official bio, SHOT AT DAWN is "a youthful six-piece from the cold abyss known as Norway, described by the press as 'blackened melo-deathcore.' Starting out as MISERY CONDUCT, they [underwent several lineup] changes and [eventually found] their musical stride. They went on to win club Maiden's 'Deathmatch' (a battle of the bands, with the winner selected by an audience vote),which [secured] them studio time to record their debut album, 'Sic Vic Para Bellum'."

SHOT AT DAWN is:

Christopher Marchand - Guitar
Espen Hagås - Bass
Johannes Venneraasen - Guitar
Jonas Dedekam - Drums
Jonathan Kjeldsen - Vocals
